Silicon Selfie explores the deepening entanglement of human and machine intelligence. The work envisions a world where artificial intelligence isn’t just shaped by data but by the algorithmic influence of social media. At its core is a GPU, the heart of most AI systems, brought to life with animatronic facial features. As it endlessly scrolls through social media, it sees faces, reimagines their expressions, and reconstructs them as its own using an AI model running on its own hardware.
